Matthew is committed to providing high quality endodontic care within a relaxed environment based on the latest technologies and techniques. He enjoys helping patients overcome nervousness about root canal treatments and delivering predictable treatments to save teeth long into the future.

Matthew qualified with distinction from Queen’s University Belfast in 2017. He completed his foundation training in Greater Manchester, working in general dental practice in Manchester and Belfast before joining the team at Nick Wright Dental Practice in 2023.

Always dedicated to postgraduate development, Matthew completed the MJDF examinations in 2019 and gained membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in England and Faculty of General Dental Practitioners. Having always been passionate about endodontics, Matthew returned to study an MSc in Endodontics through the University of Chester, graduating with distinction in 2023.

Outside dentistry Matthew is a keen musician, playing multiple instruments and leading a local choir. He also enjoys cycling, getting outdoors in the Mournes, and learning Argentine Tango.
